Museum Schedule and Programs:
As the summer season winds to a close, the Museum of Coastal Carolina prepares for its fall season.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina’s fall season begins on September 7 and runs through December 30, 2017. During that time, the museum will be open from 10:00 to 3:00 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Additional open days are Dec. 26 and 27. The museum will be closed on Oct. 20 and 22, Nov. 23, and December 25.
On select Saturdays at 11:00, the museum resumes its popular Sea Animal Stories with Puppets. Families with children are invited to sit back and enjoy puppet plays and stories about marine animals. Therapy dogs from Canine Angels will join Story Time on Sept. 9, Oct. 7, Nov. 4, and Dec. 2.
On Fridays at 11:00, visitors are invited to join museum docents as they feed the live animals in the museum’s touch tank and aquariums.
On Saturdays at 11:00, the museum presents family programs that include a craft or activity for kids:

On September 7, the museum opens a new art exhibit in the Coastal Gallery called Low Country in Brunswick County by local artist Bobbie Scheller. Meet the artist from 12:00-1:00 on September 8.

Non-member all-day admission is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $7.50 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under. Ingram Planetarium’s fall season begins on September 7 and runs through December 30, 2017. During that time, the planetarium’s doors will open at 11:30 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The planetarium will also be open on December 26 and 27. It will be closed November 23 and December 25.
